Mississippi Regional Economic Analysis Project
On behalf of the Bureau of Business and Economic Research (BBER), University of Southern Mississippi, greetings and welcome to the Mississippi Regional Economic Analysis Project. Using the interactive regional economic tools of analysis at your disposal on this website, we invite you to conduct your own research to examine and assess changing economic conditions and trends of your county or region of interest.

The BBER, housed in the College of Business, serves as an additional point of contact between the college and the regional business community. The BBER is a primary provider of timely and relevant business and economic information including economic forecasting at the regional level, information about important regional economic trends, and limited fee based business services.

The cornerstone of the Mississippi Regional Economic Analysis Project is the annual data compiled by the Regional Income Division of the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA), U.S. Department of Commerce encompassing nearly 4 decades−from 1969 to 2007.
